Sturdy well built. Doesn’t feel like cheap junk that will break after a few uses. The hook to hang it on a/c did rust from being outside in rain, but it is just a hanger that isn’t needed for the use of it. Great value for the money. I would buy again.

besides the high side gauge not corresponding to press/temp charts it was easy to use and low loss fittings are great. bummer that i have to buy a new high side gauge

I ordered these gauges to vacuum down a mini split unit I installed. I noticed after turning on the vacuum pump that the gauge on the low side was about 20 inHg but would not reach full vacuum. After about 15 minutes having the mini split under vacuum. I shut the valve off on the low side and then the vacuum pump and vacuum held. There was no rise in pressure. I tried again but noticed the gauge had not zero out. It was pass zero. I decided to test the gauges to make sure the gauges where not leaking. I will explain the process incase someone runs to a similar situation. I connected both the the blue hose (low pressure side) to the bottom and back on the manifold. I did the same for the red hose, the high pressure side. I connected my yellow to the bottom of the manifold and the other end to the vacuum pump. I made sure to close both the low side and high side and started my vacuum pump. After starting the vacuum pump I opened the low side and ran the vacuum pump. After a couple of minutes I closed the low side and then shut off the vacuum pump. The vacuum held with no rise in pressure. I did the same for the high side and again no rise in pressure. After verifying the gauges where not leaking I took notice where the gauge on the low side zero out and marked it. I then proceeded to vacuum down the mini split knowing that the zero mark was around the 10 psi mark and the 30 inHg was about the 20 inHg mark on the gauges. The process was a bit frustrating due to the inaccuracy of the gauges but I made it work.

I installed a DIY ductless mini-split A/C unit on our house. Part of the installation requires vacuuming the line sets while monitoring with a set of gauges. Local store had the vacuum pump for rent but no one had gauges appropriate for the refrigerant used in a home unit. I bought this to fill that need and it worked perfectly. Be advised that it comes with no directions whatsoever but the A/C installation manual walked through the process so I didn’t have to figure it out on my own. Hoses were in good shape and everything works. Came with two adapters and some spare gaskets for the connectors. Definitely worth the money.
